The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. The family suite was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us to explore the nearby beaches and shops. Plus, the pool was a great hangout spot during the day!
The only thing we wished for was some music playing by the pool area in the evenings. It would have added to the fun atmosphere and made our nights even more memorable.

family apartment upstairs was extremely spacious, for this reason alone, we were highly impressed. Only downfall was considering a family apartment, no facilities for cooking, ie stove/oven. Appreciated our two night stay and grooming after first night - did not expect this. Would definitely recommend to others, thankyou!
Enjoyed everything. However, personally, I like to see lots of photos regarding the actual accommodation, a great marketing tool!

Loved the beautiful boutique accommodation. The spa was so refreshing after a long day of travel. Comfy rooms and strong wifi were really nice perks. The friendly staff provided a warm welcome and gave us a map of local attractions. Great location close to the village and Matakana.
Our room in the homestead didn't have independent access, which would have been preferred. The decor was a bit dated and could have used a mirror over the desk for easier makeup application.

A must-visit place for history buffs, beautiful wineries in hidden locations , and a food tour with character. The attentive team ensures the lodge is spotless. They also provide banter and travel tips.
Oh, I just adore it when there aren't any cons. But if I had to nitpick, maybe they could have provided a unicorn ride to the wineries.

We were actually surprised by the cleanliness and tidiness of the accommodation. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and a nice view of the pool area. The main kitchen was a great addition and allowed us to prepare meals easily. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, especially during the hot weather. Despite the inconveniences of road works on the first night, the second night was peaceful. we had a nice stay at the Lodge.

Was well located
This may be a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay however, we stayed on the night of the host's birthday party which meant that we (the paying guests) felt that we were intruding if we attempted to use any of the facilities which would normally be available to us, such as the kitchen or the lounge room.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, we enjoyed the open areas of the lodge and the privacy of our room. Lovely location to have a night away and only a very short stroll to the local shops and garden tavern.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. the accommodation was lovely and clean, and we particularly enjoyed using the main kitchen facilities. the pool and hot tub were a fantastic addition, especially given the hot weather. We also had a peaceful night's sleep after roadworks were completed. They also fixed any issues we had quickly. the building itself was elegant and interesting, and we loved the well-planned kitchen facilities. Plus, the coffee plungers and fair trade products were a nice touch. the location was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised that it was even walkable with a wheeled suitcase to the bus station. Cons: For us, the stay was ideal.

The owners were so friendly, and we had an elderly dog with us, which they made us feel comfortable about. The grounds and house are so lovely, and was interesting to read that the house use to be the police station. We also had a nice chat to some Canadians staying there.
